Upon opening this book, you are quickly thrust right into an action packed adventure! Will light or darkness prevail? Author Ralph Smith definitely keeps you guessing. He also does a fantastic job with developing the story line and characters. As the romantic relationship between David & Aurora deepens, he shows how a Godly love can be as passionate as what our current culture portrays. This great novel makes a great addition to my Christian Fantasy collection!

I started reading this book for free as I “borrowed” it from the Amazon library on my Kindle. I was quickly engrossed in the novel and had to purchase the book in order to give my support to the author. I’m a hopeless romantic at heart and this was the perfect blend of romance, science fiction and adventure. The contrasts between Aurora and David are what initially got me hooked. I loved that Smith created such a strong female protagonist who is so easy to root for. I couldn’t stop reading and am so glad I began. If you’re looking for a passionate adventure, look no further.

Epic battles? Check. Good Vs Evil? Check. A romantic and sweet love story? Check.
This book has all the elements of one you can’t put down. And if you do, somehow manage to put it down, the story lingers in the back of your mind throughout the rest of the day. There were so many elements at work in this story and they all came together beautifully.
The best part of “Seal of the King” was its rich backstory and history, based on biblical stories of King David. I don’t believe that it was ever so overly religious that it would put a reader off. On the contrary, it was so well crafted that you almost forgot that it had religious elements in it at times. Mostly, it was just a great story. Demons and battles and warriors – it was everything I look for in a fantasy book and so much more. You very rarely find books like this – books that are so original and just plain GOOD.
From the first few pages, you really don’t expect the book to turn into the epic fantasy that it did. It starts of almost calm and tranquil, though still interesting – then BAM! You are thrown into the middle of a battle between good and evil along with the main character and suddenly you find that you can’t put the book down. A definite recommended read. The fantasy genre needs more books like this.

Excellent book. This book had me from the get go. The author writes with a wonderful flow and everything simply comes together piece by piece. “Seal of the King” is a great book for a great price. This novel contains various thrilling moments that make me keep on reading. I definitely plan on reading more of this author.
